Industrial Electrician-Senior

Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, Inc. (PWR), a part of Pratt & Whitney, offers a complete line of propulsion products from launch vehicles to missile defense to advanced hypersonic propulsion. These have been used in a wide variety of government and commercial applications, including the main engines for the space shuttle, Atlas and Delta launch vehicles, and high altitude defense systems.
Join the Operations Team at PWR. The Industrial Electrician position requirements are primarily to complete installation, maintenance, construction, modification and overhaul of major industrial electrical controls, systems and equipment.
Diagnose, repair and maintain HVAC equipment, lighting systems, water & steam pumps and boilers, plant electrical power distribution equipment, emergency generator operations and electrical construction projects.
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must exercise independent judgment in ascertaining causes of failures and apply independent knowledge in methods of solving complex technical problems.
Mandatory training requirements: Confined space, hazardous communications; scooter/forklift/bridgecrane license; disposable respirator.
