Image Processing/Graphics Software Engineer

Looking for a mid-level software engineer to develop scientific applications in the field of remote sensing. BA/BS/MA/MS in computer science, engineering and/or scientific related disciplines. Experience with C/C++, GUI, interfacing with 3rd party software, Windows and UNIX environments of scientific applications. 3+ years of experience developing software. US citizenship required.

Candidate Requirements: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, in order to make recommendations, write product development specifications and requirements. Some project management skills, including ability to execute assignments within established timeframes and quality standards while responding to other immediate needs. Strong organization and prioritization skills. Ability to diagnose problems, to conceptualize and be creative. Solid interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with development and user groups.
