IT Service Delivery Manager-Applications

****4 Month Contract to Hire****

 

 

Position Description:
Senior management responsibility for day to day delivery of application development and support services across multiple applications in support of single or multiple sites. Accountable for staffing, resource management, cost budget, technical direction, estimates, and overall process for all application delivery. Participates with account management team towards a goal of building a strong business partner relationship with existing customers or potential customers. Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained by meeting current and potential applications needs, ensuring SOW compliance, developing long term application strategies. Collaborates with the customer relationship team on the applications long term planning. Works as a member of the customer relationship management team to identify and develop solutions and ensure appropriate implementation thereof. Manages the design and execution of IT software tests and results evaluation. Provides analysis and makes recommendations for resolution of all problems related to applications projects. Participates in many aspects of managing software efforts and leads other team members in application delivery processes. Coordinates application help-desk support to end-users, which would include prioritizing, troubleshooting, and communicating issues related to end-user support.


Performs project management tasks. Uses best practice methods of project management for business application projects. Develops project plans as required and assist in tracking results.

Required Experience:

1) Should have managed large application projects and teams

2) Someone who has application development methodology

3) Strong software development tools

4) Candidate must have manufacturing experience

5) Must have experience with CMMI

6) Must have experience working with ERPs

7) Must have prior Service Delivery/Program Management experience- No Project Managers
