IT Security Incident Handler - TS/SCI
This position is located in our VA, Arlington facilityInterface with Federal and Civilian Agencies as security events develop or as the agency calls in with security questions. Develop high level correlation of security events as they become known. Have experience with the Information Assurance (IA) toolset, including but not limited to Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Net Flow analysis, and open source data. Be able to comprehend complex application problems and using a systems analysis approach with knowledge and understanding of current IA policy and regulations, provide an IA solution, or escalate the incident as appropriate. Be cognizant of current IA vulnerabilities, exploits, and their countermeasures as they become known. Recommend IA solutions to the customers based upon IA community best practices.All applicants shall possess a Top Secret (TS) clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain Secure Compartmented Information (SCI) level access. Clearances shall be verifiable through GDIT Security. Preference may be given to applicants that currently hold an Active TS/SCI access level clearance. All applicants must meet and maintain DHS suitability requirements.BS/BA degree in an IA related field such as Computer Information Technology desiredRequires 3-5 years experience.Submit Your Resume Online Now
