Strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills are also required. This position will work closely with the Honeywell SAP COE and SAP Support Communities, functional process analysts, IT business systems analysts and end-users to deliver innovative solutions that drive commonality and value across Aerospace. This position will report into the IT Integrated Supply Chain Sourcing organization.
IT Project Manager
Responsible for managing/leading the design, development, and implementation of one or more large-scale, highly complex ISC Sourcing projects with scope scanning more than one functional area or discipline.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensuring adherence to standard IT policies around project management; providing regular updates Manages the design, development and implementation phases of project Defines project requirements; manages the development of project standards, procedures and quality objectives Develops and communicates project plans, schedules, cost and organization wide metrics Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned project leader(s)/team including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project work Negotiates for financial, physical, or human resources to support a project(s) Develops resource plans to account for technical, functional and process experts Ensures projects are within time, cost and quality objectives Tracks supplier (co-source and non-preferred supplier) deliverables/SLAs and/or resources Monitors and controls projects to meet stated objectives and metrics - takes action on potential risks and issues and provides proposals for solutions to senior management if escalation is required Utilizes Process Improvement techniques such as six sigma tools and SEI-CMM processes Assesses variances from the plan and develops and implements changes as necessary to ensure project meets time, cost and quality objectives Conducts formal customer reviews at project completion to confirm acceptance and satisfaction Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project sponsors, customers, vendors and other key stakeholders Becomes familiar with the Honeywell SAP Support Community business processes and procedures
Requirements:
BS required 4 or more years of project management and relevant functional experience Prefer Masters Project Management Certification 3 years minimum SAP experienceAttributes/Skills Sought:
