We are currently recruiting for an Integrated Support Logistics Manager. Responsibilities of the ILS Manager include: Coordinate and/or perform training support services for one or more programs and/or proposals, including internal and external training. Coordinate Integrated Logistics Support services including Publications, Provisioning, Human Factors, Safety, Reliability, Maintainability, System Support Analysis, Spares/Repair Parts, Packaging and Storage Requirements. Prepare, direct, coordinate and monitor the training and logistics portion of assigned programs. Determine training support requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance of complex products in specific areas of technical specialization or new and unique technology. Prepare capital equipment requests and justification. Participate with Engineering and other functional areas to assure that training effectiveness is maximized consistent with design integrity and supportability. Recommend product and service improvements. Analyze and direct training and logistic program(s) cost status and accounting efforts. Prepare and present training and logistics program capabilities and services to customers. Prepare and coordinate preparation of proposals; provide technical and cost support for negotiations. Practice Total Quality principles and concepts.
Successful candidate will possess a minimum of five years related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent education or experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties. Training development methodology should include Instructional Systems Development and Systems Approach to Training. Aviation-related training/credentials to include A&P, FCC, and/or an aviation-related degree preferred.
Interested individual will have knowledge of Training and Logistics Program functions and organization, knowledge of DOD logistics elements and element interrelationships, good personal computer skills. (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, dbase), leadership and team building skills, and effective written and oral communication skills. Must have demonstrated financial cost analysis skills. Must be able to plan, organize and schedule, effectively and persuasively present information to customers and company personnel using original or innovative techniques or style, and supervise, direct and train others. Previous experience in military systems, aircraft, electronics, UAV and/or aviation training management is highly desired.
Experience and demonstrated performance in the area of military aviation training development a plus. Candidate should possess knowledge of training task analysis, technical publications, required contents, and preparation processes., knowledge of various military agencies and their overall maintenance methodologies, knowledge of Logistics functions (including support analysis) and organizations, ISO 9001 and Total Quality principles and concepts, process improvement activities, development processes, and procedures.
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
