ChemResearch Co., Inc., leading aerospace metal finisher, seeks qualified candidates for the following positions.

 

ID/OD Grinder – Minimum 3 years experience setting-up and operating various ID/OD grinding machines to perform specific operations on close tolerance aerospace parts.  Use appropriate gages and fixtures to check and assure all work and dimensional specs; read and write from job routers and able to operate manual lathes, mills and drills.

 

Final (Quality) Inspection - Conducts final inspection of aerospace and automotive parts by referencing blueprints to ensure design specifications and tolerances.  Requires the use of a variety of measurement equipment including a CMM, optical comparator, micrometers, calipers, rulers, gauge blocks, automated measuring equipment, electrical instruments and various hand tools. This position will also support quality assurance activities including internal/extenal audits, procedure development, certifications, etc..Mil Spec Painter – Coats surfaces on a variety of military and aerospace type parts utilizing CARC paint, epoxy primers, resin and other materials. Must be experienced using air assisted spray equipment, cup guns and other devices.  Capable of reading blueprints and prepping/masking parts to ensure specified coverage and adherence.  Must be knowledgeable with respect to Mil Spec requirements and equipment maintenance to ensure quality performance of spray guns, etc.

 

 

 

 

Anodize / Plating Technicians – Knowledge of setting up processing solutions and creating chemical solutions. Ability to sustain baths and perform process solution testing / lab analysis (titration, pH analysis, coating thickness, hull cell analysis, etc.). Capable of conducting electro plating and chemical maintenance activities, including wet analysis and chemical additions.  Ensures adherence to maintenance schedules: process solution changes, lab analysis, etc. Ability to complete plating tasks related to Etching, Copper, Nickel and Gold Plating, Electric Polishing.
