CTD has approximately 900 employees at facilities in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.This Principal Systems Engineer will contribute to the development and analysis of new principles, concepts, and system architectures specifically in the areas of Information Assurance / Systems Security Engineering. The candidate will perform requirements analysis and development, systems architecting, and system integration and test support with a focus on information assurance on Army Programs. The successful candidate will be expected to be knowledgeable in the Information Assurance (IA) discipline as practiced by the U.S. Department of Defense per DoDI 8500.1/2. In addition, the candidate should be conversant on all aspects of certification and accreditation per the DIACAP process per DoDI 8510. The Principal Systems Engineer is expected to be expert in the systems engineering practice of identifying user needs; requirements analysis, decomposition, and flow down; systems design; and systems integration and test. Other core competencies sought after are: cryptography, telecommunications/network security, risk management, and software operating system and application security. Principal System Engineer capable of performing system security engineering activities, to include, assessing emerging threats to Information Assurance (IA), data protection techniques, software and network security, evaluate and employ IA models and validate Information Assurance strategies and implementations. BS Degree in a technical field related to systems engineering +9 years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree recommended. Strong communication and presentation skills. 100% Compliance mindset. Demonstrated commitment to achieve. CISSP and ISSEP certifications are a plus. Holds an active SECRET Clearance.
