Harness Pro/E, Pro/Cable Design Engineer

Dock5 USA has several contract positions available for Engineers and Designers with experience using Pro/Cable.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Develop ProE Wildfire models of communications, power, & signal wiring harnesses in Pro Cable.  Generate MS Presentations to convey vehicle routing solution.
Support ISO 9001 environment - conduct deisgn planning & design reviews
Work as a member of the IPT to integrate communications, power, & signal Pro/E harness models into the EFV model.
Support Final Design Release of Harness Pro/E Models as part of DFR (Design For Reliability) Activities including (but not limited to) creating new models of clamps, interference checks of existing routing, updating models of harness components, updating models within the Harness System.
Maintain responsibilities and duties within the Harness IPT including sharing of technical knowledge and experience, maintaining clear communications with team members and management, attendance at staff and IPT meetings, provide daily and weekly status reports, working within scope of assigned duties and remaining focused on directed tasks.
Perform other functions as required

Applicant should have a minimum 6+ years and 15000 Hours of Pro/E experience
Experience with large assembly management and simplified reps required. Experience with Pro/Intralink and skeleton parts preferred.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent oral, written and administration skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Power Point, Access, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.).
Must possess a team-oriented mentality and good interpersonal skills.
Must demonstrate a solid work ethic.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must be able to enter a military vehicle; subject to a Anthrometric Size Restriction
Technical disciplines that may apply: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Background in distributed systems design and routing.
Experience in full stream routing flow (schematic capturing tools, Pro/E, manufacturing drawings).
- ProE Wildfire 2.0, ProCabling, Pro Pipe, Routed System Design (RSD)
Pro-Cable experience desired
Proven experience in large integrated systems environment
Must be a US Citizen.
Minimum Associate of Science degree in EE or additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
