Career Opportunity – HR Specialist Location: Lynnwood, WA Job Number: IC08R217862 Job Category: Human Resources Product Solution: n/a Essential Job Functions: Assist in the maintenance and administration of Crane Aerospace compensation programs. Responsibilities include conducting job analysis interviews, and writing job descriptions. Performs job evaluation, survey participation, salary planning, as well as market and equity analysis. Provides consultation to management and HR regarding market trends, job classifications, and application of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines. Provides recommendations regarding individual compensation issues. Analyzes and reports on job evaluation activities and reports on market trends. Supports corporate office in 401K activities and partners on retirement plan contribution reviews. Partners with Precept to escalate benefit issues and is a member of the Benefits Steering Committee. Compensation: · Evaluate job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary. · Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws, including reporting requirements. · Benefit and compensation policies, classification programs. · Provide resolution of classification and salary complaints. · Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales. · Prepare reports, such as career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information. · Work closely with recruiting to build an understanding of compensation programs and partner in developing competitive offers · Participate in processes to review compensation competitiveness · Lead the design and delivery of compensation programs, including base pay and quarterly bonuses · Team with functional HR generalists regarding pay management · Collaborate with legal, tax, communications on a variety of issues related to implementing compensation and benefit programs · Take an active role in scheduled compensation activities, e.g. manage calendars, work with HRMS and payroll, audit compensation data, and annually ensure timely and accurate payment of rewards · Participate in special projects related to compensation Benefits: · Provide support to corporate office related to 401K and Retirement Plans · Provide support for all LOA's group wide. · Support employee insurance, pension and savings plans; work with 3rd party providers (Precept, 401K provider, etc.) with plan carriers. · Member of the Benefits Steering Committee · Lead benefits-related projects; i.e. open enrollment, communications related to benefit offerings, etc. Education or Training Required: · Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources.
