HR Business Partner
Principal HR Generalist (A04) This position will serve as a business partner to Raytheon Vision Systems FPEP, Contracts, and Finance, understanding the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner. The role as a business partner will consist of aligning the right solutions, ideas, skills and people with the needs of the business. As an integral part of the management team, you will help build and implement organizational human resource strategy, improve organizational performance, and develop organizational capability. The Principal HR Generalist is expected to coach and architect topics including organizational change, organizational learning and development, performance management, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Responsibilities : - Coach line managers to increase understanding and application of people processes. - Apply experience level HR Generalist knowledge to deliver full scope of HR solutions including but not limited to: - talent acquisition and development - performance management - leadership capability and development - compensation - employee development - succession planning - workforce planning - organizational effectiveness & organizational development - Translate business & HR strategies into operational and actionable plans. - Fosters a strong customer service orientation, provides leadership, works collaboratively on teams, and consults effectively and independently with all levels of the organization. - Develop and deliver internal and external strategies to source and retain top talent at all levels of the organization and oversee HR review, performance development processes, retention strategies, succession planning. Build and maintain a pipeline for talent - Proactively anticipate employee relations issue and provide timely coaching and counseling to reconcile differences and establish resolution. - Develop and implement strategies and gain support on implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives - Partners with and influences business partners to proactively ensure successful business results - Ensure that organizational processes and relationships are fair and equitable - Develop relationships and collaborate with HR functional partners (compensation, staffing and organization effectiveness, etc.) to negotiate resources and develop plans and specific supporting people program deliverables - Drive HR policy, process and practice to ensure effective execution and compliance with policies and drive execution of best practices locally - Develop site Affirmative Action Plan, provide progress reports to the Leadership Team and interface with the NCS Compliance Director on a regular basis. Required Skills : - Minimum 6 years of progressive HR generalist experience, or 4 years HR generalist experience with MBA/MLIR - Strong business acumen and diverse business perspective - Must be able to think strategically and execute tactically - Must be innovative, agile and a strong change agent who seeks opportunities for improvement, and will be results-oriented - Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, oral and presentation - Must be able to build effective working relationships with a broad range of styles and at all levels in the organization - Must be able to work collaboratively across teams and be able to work independently - Demonstrated integrity and strong judgment - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Strong organizational/follow-up skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple changing tasks simultaneously - Strong personal accountability and track record for delivering on expectations and commitments - Must possess excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills - Strong facilitation skills - Strong leadership, coaching and influence management skills - General knowledge of applicable Federal and State employment laws. - Ability to interpret policies and guidelines to support company objectives as needed. - Ability to successfully navigate through conflict while ensuring that relationships remain intact - BA or BS degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or related discipline Desired Skills : - MBA/MLIR or experience in an HR Leadership Program - Experience in a Fortune 100 Company and/or high technology company - Experience with PeopleSoft Raytheon is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, disability, or Vietnam era, or other eligible veteran status, or any other protected factor.
