Government Contract Administration & Pricing Specialist # 608008

LORD Corporation, a privately held corporation with over $725 million in sales and a leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative adhesives, coating and motion management products, is looking for a Government Contract Administration & Pricing Specialist in the Grandview/ Erie, PA location

 

FUNCTION

As the primary contract administration focal point for all of the company’s government-direct contracts, this position coordinates internal review of solicitations, prepares pricing, issues proposals, negotiates contracts, obtains required internal approvals, enters orders, responds to customer inquiries and internal request for contract information, provides sales forecast information to Operations planning, and monitors manufacturing progress for critical orders. The candidate will work closely with our Government Cost/Price Analyst, internal Marketing personnel (marketing specialists and account managers) and Operations personnel (production planning, engineering, quality, operations planning, and forecasting). This position requires external contacts with various Government personnel including buyers, contracting officers, inventory managers, auditors (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) personnel.

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of five years of Government contract management and pricing experience. 

· The incumbent must have knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies including FAR & DFARS.

· He/She must have excellent oral and written communications skills and experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel & Word.

 

NON-MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

· Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

· SAP experience
