US Citizenship required.Duties of this position include compiling, synthesizing, analyzing, interpreting and presenting both graphically, in terms of maps and charts, and in reports, spatially distributed data. The candidate will be responsible for creating, managing and visualizing community services geospatial data and completing encroachment analyses. Works with the Director to maximize protection of Twentynine Palms mission by providing analytical research on how to promote compatibility between the Base's current and planned land uses and those of surrounding areas (both current and proposed) and coordinating community liaison activities. Will be responsible to research all phases and elements of a complex Encroachment Control Plan of a large complex, multi-mission installation. To include research of zoning ordinances, land use law, urban planning and development.QualificationsGenerally requires a Bachelors degree and 2 or more years of related experience. Experience utilizing ESRI ArcGIS software.
