DescriptionAnalex Corporation is looking for a Flight Controls Engineer to develop and implement vehicle dynamics models into simulation codes. Perform root locus, frequency response, and time domain control/stability Independent Validation & Verification(IV&V) analyses for Atlas V and Delta IV missions. Interface with Launch Vehicle Integration Contractors and resolve respective technical issues in support of mission integration activities.DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR WORK, US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIREDRequired SkillsStrong technical understanding of control dynamics, vehicle stability, and flight dynamics. Excellent capability in model development, computer programming, and control system analysis. Very familiar with Simulink and Matlab software. Excellent communication and writing skills.Software Skills:Fortran, Simulink, Matlab, UNIXRequired ExperienceA minimum of 2 years experience with B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in system control/stability analyses and code development. Industry experience, particularly in launch vehicles, is preferred.
