Financial Systems Project Mgt. Liaison
- Serve as advisor on internal NASA Langley programs/projects which require financial information access and delivery solutions. - Partner with the NASA Langley (LaRC) Office of the Chief Financial Officer to deliver new solutions and capabilities. - Create, comment on, and/or maintain processes that contribute to and monitor the health of financial information and the underlying financial systems. - Ensure data quality is maintained throughout the key financial systems and applications. - Participate in cross-business initiatives that deliver analytical solutions and define the next generation of financial analytics. - Coordinate and execute the training plan for LaRC financial applications. o Perform ad-hoc financial system/user issue resolution. Required Skills: * BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or related disciplines. * 6-8 years related and progressive experience. * 2+ years of accounting/financial systems experience. * Familiar with NASA Langley Information Systems (SAP/Business Warehouse/Financial dashboards). * Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong understanding of NASA's financial cycles. * Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills. * Good project management skills. * Ability to interact with various levels of the OCFO and with other functions (in-business and cross-business). * Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimal guidance. * Must be a self-starter with the ability to maintain focus in the face of a changing business environment. Desired Skills : ERP implementation experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft).
