Installation/Maintenance/Repair F/A-18 Logs and Records (TPL)Â Job Description: DS2 is hiring an F/A-18 Logs and Records Clerk (TPL) for our program at China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station in Ridgecrest, CA.F/A-18 Logs and Records Clerk (Technical Publications Library): Candidate compiles and enters data in aircraft logbooks (AESR) and records, screen completed Maintenance Action Forms (MAF) for accuracy and make AESR entries. Issues required aircraft special inspections and high time component MAF's. May be required to maintain aircraft weight and balance program data. Screen incoming daily message traffic for action and information items and forward as required. Maintains and distributes the Monthly Maintenance Plan. Logbook experience with F/A-18 A-F, AV-8B, H-60 and H-1 is a plus. The candidate for this position must be knowledgeable of the CNAF 4790 series. This list of task requirements is not all inclusive. Candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have completed the appropriate military "A" school (Aircraft Logs & Records). Must have a minimum of thirty-six months experience in aircraft logs, records and maintenance administration requirements. Must be knowledgeable in all phases of COMNAVAIRFOR 4790.2 series and related aircraft maintenance and reporting requirements. The candidate must have completed a Technical Publications training course and be capable of supporting the Navy Technical Publications Program. May be required to obtain / maintain a clearance level of secret. This is a full-time position with full benefits.
