Support research, development, acquisition, and sustainment efforts in order to effectively assist in the implementation of Aircraft Gun Systems. 2. Provide budgeting impact evaluations on program plans affecting Gun Systems3. Process, track, update and revise Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs), Material Improvement Projects (MIPs), Material Deficiency Projects, Change Requests and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDCRLs).4. Provide financial analysis support5. Provide information technology support6. Provide technical support7. Provide engineering configuration management support8. Evaluate technical data for correct and sufficient information9. Evaluate new gun systems: Dillon 500 round ammo can for the M240D,GAU-2 gun systems for CV-22 aircraft, .50 cal barrel redesign and acquisition of new syncro and resolvers for the AC-130H aircraft.10. Provide program, logistics, system troubleshooting and item management support for weapons systems on AC130H, AC130U, H-53, CV-22, and H-60 aircraft.11. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, business administration, computer science or related discipline from an accredited institution. 6 years experience in career field may be substituted for degree. Familiarity with Air Force systems such as FEDLOG, D200, D043, CENTRA and JCALS is desired.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid state driver¡¦s license may be required.Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Other knowledge skills and abilities: None.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee will be frequently required to: walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. This position also requires closely viewing items of varying quality and font sizes. Work Environment: This position is located in an office-type environment with temperature control.
