The Global Information Technology Division of Raytheon is looking for an Enterprise DNS/DHCP Service Lead Technologist to join our Enterprise Network Enterprise Services (ENS) team. The successful candidate will lead and support Raytheon's Enterprise DNS/DHCP environment for the Global ORION network, including managing the activities of the subcontractor organization currently performing day-to-day operations. The current environment encompasses in excess of 131 Domestic U.S. remote sites and 14 International sites with additional expansion planned in 2008. The current DNS/DHCP architecture is a mix of Infoblox Appliances (IB2000, 1552, 1050 and 550 models) along with Microsoft Active Directory Servers. In addition, this position will provide general systems administration and engineering support for the ENS engineering team. This position requires the ability to interface directly with customers and program managers to determine customer requirements, design and implement solutions and maintain costs and schedule within the limits proscribed in our approved cost proposal. Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Migrate data from legacy Active Directory / QIP systems in to the enterprise Infoblox environment, as needed, working with Raytheon Businesses and network contractor personnel. - Identifying and documenting the critical success factors for enterprise projects that involve DNS/DHCP/NAC/TFTP/RADIUS. - Develop data mapping and transformation methods using Perl and other UNIX tools. - Develop implementation and maintenance plans related to the Raytheon Infoblox architecture. - Perform pre-migration testing and implementation process validation. - Create DNS naming standards that provide support for industry-standardized mapping of DNS domain names to the IP addresses of network devices. - Create DHCP standards that follow IETF standards including; RFC 2131 and 2132 This position can be located in either Garland Texas or Billerica, Massachusetts. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 6+ years applicable experience. - 3+ Years experience working with UNIX and Windows Operating systems - Experience working with DNS, DHCP, NAC, TFTP, NTP and RADIUS protocols. - Demonstrated experience with scripting languages (Perl, shell, etc) - Experience deploying DNS, DHCP, NAC, TFTP, NTP and RADIUS in a large enterprise environment. - Networking experience including routing, switching and protocols. (Cisco Preferred) - Experience with Infoblox or other IPAM products (VitalQIP, Microsoft Active Directory, etc) Desired Skills, Knowledge and Experience: - Cisco Networking experience including routing, switching and protocols. - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal groups including Raytheon Business as well as with its customers. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team of engineers, and to deliver one or several projects simultaneously.
