Career Opportunity – Engr II Manufacturing Location: Lynnwood Job Number: GF08R350537 Job Category: Manufacturing/Operations Product Solution: AEP Essential Job Functions: This Manufacturing Engineer position is to support both New Product Introduction and the production of Legacy aerospace power conversion products. Responsibilities would include: Participate in product development teams providing expertise in manufacturability. Identify cost drivers and propose alternative approaches/processes. Identify and address process gaps as well as identify and develop new process opportunities. Drive Lean Manufacturing concepts to improve productivity, quality and inventory reduction in manufacturing cells. Provide technical support to manufacturing to identify and address improvements in operational performance. Provide technical support to resolve manufacturing problems (e.g. vendor, process problems, tooling, etc.) Education or Training Required: B.S. Engineering or equivalent training Minimum Experience Required: Thorough knowledge of modern manufacturing methods, techniques, equipments and processes as applied in the design, development and manufacture of electronic products. Ability to quickly and effectively establish rapport, methods, techniques, timing and strategy to be used in personal contact with operational and staff groups and all levels of employees to ensure effective working relationships.
