Job Description: MSC seeks a motivated and innovative engineer with the ability to work on multiple projects autonomously. Projects involve a wide range of topics including new materials, structural design and engineering software development. This position will be involved in design, testing, and evaluation of composite materials; preparing technical reports and documentation; and communicating with outside institutions (government contacts, universities, test facilities, etc.). This is a full-time position located in Horsham, PA (Philadelphia suburb).
Requirements: This position requires an advanced degree in a related engineering field (mechanical, structural, civil or other related degree) and 0-10 years of relevant work experience. Fundamental competencies should include a solid understanding of the mechanics and failure mechanisms of multifunctional composite material structures. U.S. citizenship is required and DoD SECRET clearance may be required.
