Engineering - General
This opening is for an engineer responsible for working support and analysis projects for the US Navy and US Marine Corps as directed by a Project Manager or Government client in the area of coatings and corrosion control.  The engineer is expected to be able to take direction from senior colleagues and perform technical tasks at a competent level. The engineer is responsible for ensuring that he or she understands the technical requirements of a project and working diligently to complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule. The engineer is expected to work independently and communicate project delays, issues, and or changes to the appropriate Project Manager, Senior Engineer, or the Engineering Manager and to complete tasks in a timely fashion.

Technical expertise in materials engineering, corrosion, coatings, and vehicle platforms is desired. Experience with data analysis and statistics is a plus. Education: BS Materials, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred. Must be willing to travel. Position will be primarily seated at government client site in the Washington, D.C. metro area.
