Description:The Engineer - Systems will work under direction of one or more Lead and/or Principle Systems Engineers performing project specific development and/or life cycle maintenance tasks in support of Weapon Training Systems and Auxiliary Systems which support SSBN and SSGN Weapon System development, test, and training programs at shore based facilities.The selected candidate will respond to challenging engineering assignments by applying technical expertise and personal leadership skills to technical problems that require creativity and ingenuity. Specific responsibilities may include:- Participation in specific development tasks associated with systems requirements detailed system/subsystem design, product qualification- Analyzing system level requirements and usage scenarios to develop associated test plans.- Performance of structured testing in a laboratory environment.- Documentation/follow-through of problem reports for resolution.- Technical analyzes of design issues/decisions, recommendations and solutions- Trouble and failure report (TFR) analysis and resolutionSecretQualifications:Education: BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience.
