Engineer II - Hardware Test & Design

In this position, you will perform circuit level and radio level digital hardware testing using logic analyzers, emulators, and oscilloscopes with other members of the project team. Will participate in software integration tasks using emulators and other lab equipment. Will perform a variety of hardware design tasks on software defined radios and related support equipment with other member of the project team. Will learn and apply state-of-the-art Cadence EDA tools for circuit design, design verification as well as simulation and modeling. Equivalent Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements: * BSEE, BSEET or related technical degree.* At least 2 years design and development experience in the electronics industry is required. * Self starter who works well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.* Comprehensive knowledge of electronic equipment design and development, engineering methods and procedures is required. * Exposure to analog and digital design tools, digital logic design or VHDL, digital signal processing, and Linux are all desirable, but not required. Communications theory would be helpful.* Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. * Must be a U.S. citizen.
