Description of Work: Process Engineer for the Wheeled Vehicle department supporting the Engineering Design & Development (ED&D) business, work, and human systems goals. • Point of contact for all process and quality related efforts (ISO 9001, ISO 18001, and CMMI). Communicate all relevant process needs to leadership and follow through on all requirements. • Monitor changes to IPS processes. Review and analyze all changes and communicate impacts to management and leaders. • Ensure the department is prepared for ongoing internal and external audits and appraisals. Develop and deliver ISO 9001, ISO 18001 training. Identify and follow through on corrective actions. • Support the measurement needs of the Systems Engineering (SE) organization, and coordinate metrics related to ISO 9001 certification and CMMI Maturity Level 3. Support process development in preparation for CMMI level 4 & 5. Maintain department metrics for Charter Page publication. • Follow IPS measurement processes to create and maintain measurement deliverables. • Maintain the process Charter and Department web pages. Review for content and apply changes based on business, organization, and process needs. • Point of contact for department training needs and status. Job Requirements: BS required in Engineer and Liberal Arts Minimum of 5 years of experience. Experience with process development include but not limited to ISO and CMMI. Working Knowledge of GDLS Integrated Process System (IPS). Prefer ISO audit and CMMI appraisal experience. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be willing to work overtime on occasion. Experience using Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, or Access) is required.
