Employee Development Specialist (T&E)Description: JOB DUTIES: Represents the Learning Education Assessment & Developmentorganization to Engineering and others internal and external to the Client, including engineers, designers, managers, team leads, vendor employees, and executives. Assists the customer in the workplace with seminars and one-on-one coaching of CATIA V5 and its associated applications. Demonstrates correct use of the Dassault Systemes CATIA V4 design tool and its integration with the PLM tool suite (CATIA V5, ENOVIA, DELMIA) to end-users in order to instruct others. Troubleshoots complex problems related to CATIA V5 and Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) tools, and explains solutions to customers. Plans, conducts, and analyzes results of performance analyses of the engineering group. Uses results of performance analyses to develop measurable educational objectives. Develops curriculum based on standard instructional design development principles. Defines educational outcomes and develops instructional modules based on educational objectives. Ensures educational outcomes and instructional modules are consistent with Boeing engineering processes and methods. Provides recommendations to customers on current and future LTD courses. Teaches short courses to groups ranging in size from one person to several hundred people, including live demonstrations of the CATIA V5 software. ENOVIA LCA experience required. Volt is an Equal Opportunity EmployerRequirements: JOB SKILLS: Working knowledge of CATIA V4 including wireframe design,surface modeling using the SURF2 and LAW functions, exact and approximated solid modeling, single and multi-sheet drafting, and assembly design. Strong working knowledge of Dassault Systemes ENOVIA LCA and CATIAV5 Product Lifecycle Management tools. Analytical skills.Knowledge of how an engineering product moves through the product life cycle, including engineering release procedures. Knowledge of 3D Model Based Design (MBD) Geometry Creation processes, methods, and preferred practices. Ability to use Client and general aerospace industry engineering methods, processes, and tools to design aerospace parts that meet customer expectations. Ability to develop and deliver learning solutions based on end-user skill gaps.
