Embedded Software Engineer

Experienced and qualified embedded software engineer able to understand and contribute to the architecture and design of a large embedded platform and perform as a key contributor to the development and troubleshooting of the software for an embedded platform based in a tactical military handheld radio.

Key contributor to a team of embedded developers writing OO software for a tactical hand held radio. Candidates will also be asked to participate in the estimation of new activities and status of ongoing activities.

Requires experience with large multiprocessor embedded platforms where code size exceeds 100k lines of code. Excellent C++ and OO skills are required. Experience with CORBA middleware is highly desireable. Knowledge of timeboxed iterative development with agile techniques such as test driven development a strong plus. Experience with the Rational toolset and proficiency with UML preferred.
