Electrical Engineer (Aerospace)

If you know Windows-based networking, have experience with human interface of industrial controllers, can write simple network scripting, and can configure off the shelf software to create a touch screen interface, STS is seeking you.

The Electrical Engineer will be designing electrical systems and software interfaces for STS produced training equipment for the aviation industry. The EE will be working under the direction of the Project Engineer and Engineering Manager, analyzing electrical and PLC systems of the equipment to be simulated. Successful candidate will devise simulation solutions that meet the training requirements and level of fidelity specified in the training equipment Statement of Work and/or Specification, while keeping the engineering effort minimized. To do this well, the Electrical Engineer must be able to:
 communicate effectively with other engineers assigned to the project team create engineering drawings and documents for the project that are both economical and precise support in-process design reviews by STS management and/or customer representatives support in-house assembly and test of the training equipment support factory acceptance of the training equipment support on-site installation and acceptance of the training equipment.
BS, AutoCAD and PLC programming preferred.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required.
