Electrical Engineer

This is a full time position in the Electronics and Electromechanical Systems section. Responsibilities include supporting the group with the design of existing and future electrical/electronic projects. These projects can include the design and development of small signal and power analog, digital electronics, microprocessor, VHDL, flight parts selection, cables and power distribution. Perform other duties as required. This is a team ESCG position with MEI Technologies. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - ABET accredited college or university (preferred) and 5 years experience in the field or in a related area; prefer degree in Electrical Engineering. Candidate must have electronics design capability. Work experience with design and troubleshooting electronic circuits is required. Experience with NASA spaceflight project development is desired. Must have experience planning and establishing work priorities. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Electrical Engineering field. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Other computer experience highly desired. Must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a DoD security clearance.
