ENGINEER VI (WINDCHILL SUPPORT)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssist engineering organizations in the automated management of engineering data using a product lifecycle management (PLM) tool. The candidate will help research current processes, issues, and associated costs with managing engineering data, assist in developing new processes intended for a Windchill PDMLink implementation and help develop the necessary tools and processes to aid in the transition from current processes to the PDMLink processes.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree, Masters degree or PhD in Engineering or related technical field and progressively complex engineering experience as follows; twelve or more years experience with a Bachelors degree, ten or more years experience with a Masters degree, and seven or more with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education. Minimum 2 years CAD/CAM/CAE application experience. Experience with PLM implementation and/or administration. Broad understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles. Thorough understanding of drawing requirements. Must be team oriented, self-motivated and responsible.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Windchill PDMLink and ProjectLink implementation team member and/or business administrator. Experience working in or supporting configuration management / document center departments. Experience with Pro/INTRALINK 3.X administration and support. Experience with Java, Visual BASIC, Visual C++VMWARE and/or Wise Package Studio. Experience with Pro/ENGINEER administration and support.
