Description
An E-O IR Principal Systems Architech is required to play a lead role in the development of advanced airborne reconnaissance systems. Must ave extensive experience in architecture design and detailed systems requirements flow down in multi spectral imaging systems (visible and IR).
Responsibilities
* Architecture development for multiple EO/IR programs
* Generate Detailed requirements flow down to subsystems :- optics, FPA, electronics, control systems etc.
* Develop detailed test plans including requirements verification and validation
* Responsible for systems engineering activities from proposal, systems definition, engineering prototypes through production delivery to customers mentoring less experienced systems engineers.
Education/experience
* Experience specifying EO/IR system architectures
* Well versed specifying EO/IR detectors (FPA)
* Previous experience specifying requirements of optical systems
* Skilled in a well structured systems design/development process (preferably C I level 3 or higher)
* Familiar with requirements tracking tools (preferably DOORS)
* Familiar with the use of MATLAB, MODTRAN
* MS/ PhD in Physics / Engineering is preferred
