Division Controller

Summary:  Collect and analyze various financial and operating data in a deadline and detail oriented environment.  Develop and prepare financial models for new base openings, acquisitions and managed care contracts. Creates revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.  Interact with all levels of management, multiple departments throughout the organization and the Board of Directors. 

Job Duties:

·  Prepare financial and operational analysis of the monthly financial results.  Work closely with the Operations Team to understand the root cause of budget versus actual variances and recommend and implement corrective action

·  Provide accounting and analytical support by working as a financial partner with the Operations Team analyzing ways to improve profitability and understand financial results

·  Perform financial and quantitative analyses related to new base openings or acquisitions

·  Participate in the budgeting process including but not limited to preparation of timeline, templates, coordination of information from field and management, review of information for completeness and accuracy, load budget into the financial package and tie out balances loaded

·  Develop pro forma balance sheets, cash flows and income statements

·  Performs cash and debt covenant forecasting

·  Analyze company financial and operating performance

·  Analyze all types of expenses such as; maintenance, travel, compensation, fuel, leases/loans

·  Perform economic analysis (return on investment, etc…) on major capital expenditures

·  Other projects and duties as assigned

Job Requirements:


 

Required Qualifications:

·  BBA with major in Finance and/or Accounting plus 0-3 years progressive experience

·  MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred

·  Self-starter with ability to work under general supervision

·  Expert skills in Excel and solid knowledge of MS Suite and Power Point

·  MS Excel skills to include use of pivot tables and v-lookups

·  Demonstrated experience building sophisticated, detailed financial models

·  Ability to gather, scrub, consolidate, and analyze data

·  Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of management

·  Working knowledge of accounting and financial statements

·  Knowledge of Great Plains and AS400 accounting packages preferred

·  Ability to deliver timely and high-quality work under pre-set timelines
