Bring your talent and skills to the following IDS Cross Business Team (CBT): Contracts: The Raytheon IDS Contracts organization provides support to the Integrated Business Team by conducting front-end strategic assessment of business pursuits, proposal presentation, contract and major subcontract negotiation, contract and major subcontract administration and development of customer relationships that provide for proper contract and major subcontract acquisition and successful program execution. Director, Contracts Job Description: IDS Contracts and Major Subcontracts CBT has a position for a Director of Contracts that entails a high degree of responsibility in a rapidly growing and complex business environment. This is a senior leadership position is located in Andover, MA and reporting to the Vice President, IDS Contracts supporting the Integrated Defense Systems Business. This individual would be the key Contracts leader of a team supporting a $2+ billion portfolio of contracts and major subcontract activities. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving results, while maintaining excellent customer relationships and bringing successful closure to strategic wins. Experience in both the domestic and international markets with regard to U.S. Government and Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales and International Offset Agreements will be key to the success of this position. Contracts professionals must demonstrate leadership influence and presence enhancing their ability to collaborate with business partners including Finance and Program Management professionals within our organization. As a leader it is expected that the individual be a self starter, be well versed in finance, subcontracting and program management and develop creative and innovative solutions to complex business issues. This individual must also possess strong leadership skills and be capable of working with minimum supervision. This position will be interfacing with the IDS Senior Leadership Team including the IDS President. This individual should possess significant knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), customer budgeting process and have an understanding of the ITAR and the ability to assist senior leaders in achieving both their financial and performance goals and objectives. Basic Qualifications: * 10+ years experience managing major Program Contracts and Major Subcontracts * Experience in leading, executing and managing the full spectrum of US Government Contract types valuing in range between $50 million - 2+ billion. * Possess excellent negotiation skills and subject matter expertise in Contracts and Major Subcontracts Management plus a working knowledge of the acquisition and program management process.
