Duties Experience Comments
This multi-plant, multi-location manufacturer of flight critical mechanical systems for military and commercial aircraft programs is a result of growth by acquisition. What`s required now is the development and implementation of a cohesive, comprehensive all-encompassing and effective Quality Assurance policies and procedures that satisfy the strictest of customer specifications and inspire a Quality Spirit that embraces Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing fundamentals. Initially we`ll expect the Corporate Director / VP, Quality to survey all plants, gathering Best Practice examples, understanding unique product applications before developing full scope programs that will satisfy AS9000 and NADCAP registration criteria. Candidates must be fully experienced and current in military/aerospace systems manufacturing, bring experiences building and improving Quality Systems that ensure compliance and the poise, communications and presentation skills required to earn confidence from aerospace primes, aircraft manufacturers and the US military. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Corporate Director, Quality will be empowered to drive appropriate change into all operating divisions in the USA and Canada. Ideal candidates will likely have Engineering and ASQ credentials.
