SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Dimensional Engineer shall be responsible for

All tooling Engineering Functions, Correction of Wax-fixture Tooling Dimensional Problems, Design Tooling Concepts ie, Shrink factors, Will work/develop strong rapport with Tooling sources.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Concept and shrink factor of tooling

§ Design gating

§ Develop and maintain relationship with outside tooling source.

§  Write Route Cards, Process sheets, Work Instructions

§  Train employees and supervisors in the methods and operations

§  Other duties as assigned by Director of Engineering.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

§ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

§  Fifteen years investment casting process experience.

§  Fluent in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancies

§ Proficiency with MS Office, (add your needs)
