Desktop Technician

We currently have an urgent need for a Desktop Technician with experienced end user support skill level to support corporate management with network and desktop issues. A+ Certification is required. This is a 5-month contract opportunity. Must have proof of U.S. Person: (Original or certified copy of U.S. Birth Certificate, or U.S. Passport) and be able to pass a background check. Skills Required: Technician will support the operation, and maintenance of Windows based PCs and workstations, Blackberries, and laptops. This support includes maintaining systems and associated workstations by configuring, and troubleshooting the system and all peripherals as needed.

Job Notes:
• IT support – Experienced Infrastructure Generalist Technical Support
• Supporting between 40 and 80 employees in one building and with future expansion to a second nearby building in the future.
• Possible travel to Ajo, AZ may be required, approximately 170 miles away (about a 2.5 hour drive) – based upon need and prior approval. Drive time and expenses will be pre-approved.
• Will have wireless, and VisitorNet issues to work.
• Non-desktop support is also a requirement, items such as an understanding of networks (LANs/Subnets/IP, Intranet/Internet, Virtual Private Networks) is also a must.
