Deputy Director of Enterprise Project Manager

Deputy Director of Enterprise Project Manager Position Responsibilities Assists the Enterprise Project Manager or may lead as delegated, the execution of the following responsibilities: - Definition of the project approach and implementation methodology based on business process reengineering and proven enterprise systems implementation methodologies. - Development and management of the project charter/detailed project plan, including scope, work breakdown structure, deliverables, schedule, project budget and resources. - Implementation and administration of project status reporting and controls conforming to EVMS principles. - Management of the identification, documentation and mitigation of project risks, the documentation and resolution of issues. - Direction and management of inter-disciplinary teams of business, technical and external contractor resources. - Implementation of the change management and enterprise communication initiatives required to successfully prepare staff members to implement the new processes and tools. - Management of stakeholder's expectations, and priorities through effective presentations, oral communication and written reports. - Line management responsibilities for up to 15 employees. Required Qualifications - Three or more years of Battelle experience in business operations or project management. - Three or more years of project management experience, leading teams in either business process reengineering or enterprise systems within a business process focused methodology. - Lead two or more, full life-cycle implementations (project initiation through post go-live support) of process focused ERP projects with budgets of $5-$25 million. - Well versed in EVMS concepts and tools. - Experience within the government contracting industry, in project delivery or business experience. - Must have strong written and oral communication skills - Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired.
