Raytheon UTD (www.raytheon.com/utd), a rapidly growing wholly-owned subsidiary of the Raytheon Company, with over 25 years experience providing excellent service to DoD, civil government agencies and the private sector, is seeking a Defense Critical Infrastructure Specialist for Ft Huachuca, Az support office. We specialize in innovative engineering solutions, hardware design and development, facility design and protection, emergency management programs, facility assessments, and a variety of other products and services. Responsibilities : The successful candidate will assist the US Army NETCOM in criticality determination, and the assessment and analysis of threats, vulnerabilities and risk for critical infrastructures supporting defense and task critical assets using DoD benchmarks and standards. This includes the validation of local threats and vulnerabilities to the infrastructures, identification of infrastructure interdependencies, collection of baseline elements of information, and the establishing of mitigation and remediation options for identified vulnerabilities. The candidate will analyze all hazards and threats and establish probability of occurrence and mission impact if vulnerabilities are not mitigated. The candidate will coordinate with installation, Defense Infrastructure Sector Lead Agent (DISLA), local governments, and private organizations to validate and analyze information as part of a risk assessment. The candidate will analyze information and assist in developing an acceptable level of risk for indentified critical infrastructures. Knowledge of system interdependency analysis and risk mitigation processes are required; knowledge of the Defense Critical Infrastructure Program concept is a plus. Strong personal communication and writing skills a must. Limited travel outside Ft Huachuca, Az. may be required. Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must be US Citizens and possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Candidates must have a minimum of a BS in engineering or related field. 6+ years risk management and supervisory experience, able to manage small and large, diverse group in an operational environment. Excellent customer service and customer relationship management skills. Ability to succinctly articulate ideas and concepts and drive organizational change.
