DSP Software Applications & Test Engineer

Responsible for modifying tuning, testing, and training of software solutions using DSP audio suite. Work closely with Product Development, third party software/hardware providers, and customers to implement  world class solutions for customers. Frequently assigned as a lead test and validation engineer on a project team to deliver complete Customer systems. Additionally, will be required to modify or write DSP software modules to enable testing and develop test scripts and tools.

Key Responsibilities:Tuning and testing DSP Audio software. Integrate audio processing blocks into production ready applications. Writing and debugging embedded C and assembly source code. Writing and debugging embedded DSP source code. Writing and debugging specialized functions necessary to complete solutions. Design, review, debug, analysis and optimisation of customer firmware. Assisting customers with software support during product development. Recognizing new business opportunities for Audio products and building on established relationships with customers. Driving, to resolution, any technical issues encountered by the customer during their development process. Aiding in the development of collateral (e.g. application notes, reference designs, white papers). Working closely with customer engineering to provide tuning and training.

Required:1 year experience writing, debugging and testing embedded software 3 years experience writing, debugging and testing embedded DSP software BSEE or equivalent with course work including DSP Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and ability to withstand a dynamic but high-pressure work environment Ability to effectively interface between customers and the Client Staff
