Customer Trainer--AVIATION MAINTENANCE ONLY
The ideal candidate will conduct programs to train employees or customers of Turbomeca USA and Microturbo in the installation, operations and troubleshooting, safety, maintenance, and repair of Turbomeca engines by performing the following duties.
· Implements corporate approved training program, including outline, text, handouts, and tests; and designs shop exercises.
· Assists in scheduling classes based on classroom and equipment availability.
· Conducts 1st and 2nd line maintenance training on-site and at off-site as assigned.
· Demonstrates procedures being taught, such as accessory removal and modular maintenance.
· Observes trainees in shop setting and answers trainees' questions.
· Builds and maintains training aids.
· Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance.
· Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to training facility and integrates information into training program.
· Ability to speak, read, and writes fluently in Spanish and Portuguese is preferred.
· Travel required: 10%, including internationally
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· FAA P license required, A license preferred.
· Intermediate Level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel; PowerPoint; and experience using contact management systems via the Internet.
· Verbal and written proficiency in English plus Spanish and/or Portuguese, including technical translation.
· Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations that must be interpreted, adapted, and applied to the unique requirements of the organization.
