Our Precision Air Drop System (PADS?) has been used on more than 600 missions and has dropped more than 5 million pounds of cargo since its debut in August 2006.

Planning Systems Incorporated (PSI), headquartered in Reston, Virginia, is a division of QinetiQ North America?s Technology Solutions Group. PSI has a job opening for a Controller/Senior Financial Advisor.

 As a part of the PSI senior management team, be involved in the strategic planning process playing a critical role in providing subject matter expertise in all financial matters. Proactively identify critical company financial issues and assist in developing corrective action plans. Provide consultation and direction to senior management team to ensure the effective implementation of finance strategies, processes, policies, systems and metrics. Review current financial reports, summaries and forecasts to analyze revenue projections and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against actual, and suggest methods of improving the planning process for future business growth. Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and offer direction. Ensure that policies and procedures across departments are consistently tested and developed and align these controls to optimize the overall environment for PSI. Serve as the liaison for the annual external audit by providing documentation requested from audit preparation package. Contribute to QinetiQ North America?s periodic internal audit by providing documentation requested from internal audit staff. Serve as the liaison for government regulatory agencies including interfacing with DCAA on such issues as incurred costs submissions, indirect rate development, advance agreements, forward pricing reviews, billing systems, contract close-outs, compensation, Cost Accounting Standards issues, and CAS disclosure statements. QualificationsMinimum BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of experience in government contracting Must have several years of hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint CPA preferred Must be a US Citizen
