Management and administration of company contracts including overseeing proposal preparation, complex contract analysis and negotiation. Ensures that risks are assessed on potential projects, managed on contracted projects and reported as directed by policy. Analyzes complex bids that may require integrating proposals from subcontractors and other potential vendors. Supports and advises management on contractual rights and obligations and serves as a resource for interpretation of terms and conditions. Maintains and approves alternative language for complex non-standard corporate contract documents. Reviews and resolves all issues affecting company compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements. Supports project team in maximizing change order opportunities and follow-on business opportunities. Manages formulation of policies, procedures, methods, operating practices and performance standards for contracts department. Responsible for the employment, training and discipline of assigned employees.QualificationsThis position requires a Bachelors degree and 10 years government contract administrative experience, including supervision/management experience.
