Duties and Responsibilities: ITT-CAS, Huntsville has a requirement to support the Government's Air Traffic Control Product Office in Huntsville, AL with business/contracts support. Ideal candidates have recent and relevant experience gained from providing contract specialist and/or Contracting Officer type support to DOD organizations and are adept at briefing mid and senior staff personnel regarding contracting policies/regulations. Familiarization with Army aviation platforms preferred. o Will perform day to day Contract Administration of various contracts (CPFF, FFP, CPIF).o Will have a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions.o Will interface with internal and external personnel regarding contracts.o Will provide support regarding the interpretation of and guidance to account management.o Will assist with the preparation of contract amendments and modifications.o Will provide assistance in the preparation, review and negotiation of requirements.o Will assist in coordinating the review/analysis of prime contractor proposals and provide consolidated positions to Government personnel.o Will review proposed contract actions with regard to applicable policy, regulation, and laws. o Will provide recommendations to senior staff regarding contract issues and alternative acquisition strategies.o Will provide assistance in the preparation of spend plans for ATC programs.o Will prepare and develop contract requirement packages (CRP); to include preparation and assistance with the development of the Statement of Work, Justification and Approvals, Contract Data Requirement Lists, and other pertinent documents required for the CRP. o Will participate and support program IPTs. Candidate Requirements: o Must have a thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Contracts/Subcontracts terminology and business practices.o Must have experience administering various contract types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Cost Plus Incentive Fee, Firm Fixed Price).o Must have strong skills and depth of experience in the development of an array of alternative solutions for program management challenges relating to cost, schedule, production, fielding and sustainment. o Must have the ability to digest complex technical issues and evaluate those issues to assess the impact to the contract.o Must have excellent written and oral communications skills.o Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment and have the personality to interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel in rapid paced environment.o Must have thorough knowledge of MS Office suite of products.Required Education and Experience: BS in engineering, business, or operations research and 7 years related experience; MS and 5 years related experience; HS and 11 years related experience.Security Clearance: SecretOvernight Travel:
