Defense & Security Systems:Sensis Defense & Security Systems division increases tactical capabilities through advanced radar detection and surveillance integration products. Customers include the worlds militaries as well as system integrators. Sensis currently has an opening for a Contracts Manager with US Government contracts experience in our Syracuse, NY location. In this role you will perform the full scope of contract administration and subcontract administration functions from RFP inception through internal reviews & approvals, proposal support, negotiations, definitization, certification, administration, and closeout.You will:' Be responsible for proposal analysis, coordination of contract flowdowns, and risk assessment for various programs. ' Communicate with contracting officers or designated customer representatives and/or subcontractors on all contractual matters.' Ensure appropriate agreements are reviewed and executed for Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs), Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), software licenses, teaming agreements, etc.' Assist with Problem analysis, resolution, and report preparations. ' Provide support and guidance to Product Area Managers, Program Managers, etc, when required for contractual interpretations and obligations.' Ensure proper record retention for all contractual documents.' Ensure contract compliance with all applicable government requirements Preferred candidate will have a BS/BA in related field with 8-10 years of contract/subcontract administration experience. Knowledge of construction contracting in a US Government environment is necessary. Knowledge of FAA contracting is a plus.Required Skills:' Knowledge of contract law, intellectual property and general business principles.' Strong organization skills with close attention to detail.' Extensive knowledge of MS Office Applications especially Word and Excel.' Must be able to multi-task across many programs and activities throughout the business area.' Ability to build strong customer and program team relationships.'
