The position involves:· Supporting a Comptroller organization in financial management related activities. · Identifying and implementing financial process improvement efforts. · Developing reports and analyzing financial data. · Interfacing with the client on a daily basis.· Developing and analyzing budgets and requirements.Documenting business processes.Position-specific Required Skills:· Active SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain such a clearance is mandatory.· Bachelor's degree.· 2+ years experience in DOD financial management or accounting.· 2+ years experience completing tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints. · 2+ years experience providing financial guidance and direction for specific sub-tasks. · 2+ years experience in MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.· 2+ years experience using DOD financial management systems, specifically STARS-FL· 2+ years experience working individually and as part of a larger team.* 2+ years experience working with DOD financial management to include knowledge of Appropriations, Line of Accounting, and Execution of Funds.The Public Services sector supports the DoD, requiring candidates to obtain a security clearance that requires US CitizenshipPosition-specific Desired Skills:· Experience with Dept of Defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.* Experience with FASTDATA and other DOD Financial Accounting Systems· Experience providing consulting services to government clients.· Experience delivering presentations and leading client meetings.· System requirement definition experience.· Experience with SQL and SQL reportsLogistics: Travel requirement - N/A BearingPoint is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability or any other basis covered by law.
