This position will work with our Directors, Program Managers and Software/Hardware Engineers to produce releases, maintain and extend our automated build processes, and communicate risks to the entire development team for all QA/Staging and Production elevations. Primary Responsibilities:' Enhance and manage polices and procedures that ensure solid configuration management practices and procedures for software and hardware development teams.' Enhance and manage a change tracking process for software and hardware artifacts.' Enhance and manage a repeatable software and hardware release process capturing all deliverables.' Support hardware and software development teams with capturing development process and procedures.' Track and document approved changes to software code' Recommend and implement courses of action to resolve any configuration issues.Qualifications:' Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent in experience' 5+ years experience with configuration in Unix/Windows environment.' Software Engineering knowledge and/or skill sets (C/C++ preferred). Previous software development experience is preferred.' Excellent communication skills to educate and create awareness in regards to configuration management. ' Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with minimal direction. ' Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as part of a multi disciplined team.'
