Configuration Management Specialist
SCCI is currently seeking Configuration Management Specialists to join our team in Dahlgren, VA supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division on our Enterprise CM contract.
Essential Skills and Experience:5+ years of related configuration management supportBachelors degree or high school diploma with directly related combination of training and work experienceComprehensive knowledge of principles, methods, and techniques used in configuration management supportDemonstrate understanding of the relationship of CM functions with other engineering disciplinesAbility to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, and government customersProficient with MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelActive Secret clearance or above
Preferred Skill and Experience:Bachelors Degree in technical field or related disciplineExperience related to weapons systems and/or Navy programsFamiliarity with DOORS and requirements management processes
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of CM processesRepresent configuration management team at program meetings ensuring that CM processes are followedProvide requirements management support utilizing the requirements management tool, Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)Participate in and provide support for configuration control meetings. Meeting support includes arranging meeting location, generating meeting invitation, agendas and minutes, and tracking action itemsDevelop configuration and data management documentation, based on program requirementsPerform quality assurance of configuration data to ensure accuracyMaintain the Integrated Digital Environment (IDE), post program material, control access, and manage workflows
