Configuration Management Analyst II

Logic-One Solutions, LLC (Logic-One) is a minority-owned and veteran-owned, professional and technical services firm that provides engineering, technology, and logistics services to defense customers. Logic-One is currently recruiting for Configuration Management Analyst II.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  Assist with analyzing changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change. Assist with developing and documenting new documentation control and configuration management business processes to support system and equipment life cycles. Responsible for performing administrative duties in an office environment. Will create spreadsheets and create presentations, reports, and documents using MS Office software. Will maintain configuration management databases and conduct audits. Attend CM meetings, assist in the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) process; assist in developing Configuration Management Plans (CMP); assist with conducting physical configuration audits (PCAs), status accounting, verification and validation. Prepare for and participate in program kickoff meetings, integrated product team meetings, production readiness reviews (PDRs, CDRs, TRRs), audits and other customer meetings, as required. Coordinates with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting. Reviews released engineering change data and changes documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.



Education/Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

 

Experience: A minimum of seven (7) years experience in documenting solutions to information systems for delivery to and reporting to the Project Manager.  Establishes and maintains a process for tracking the life cycle development of all hardware implementation and software development efforts. 



OR EQUIVALENT:

 

Education: Associate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. 

 

Experience: A minimum of nine (9) years experience in support of documenting solutions to information systems for delivery to and reporting to the Project Manager.  Establishes and maintains a process for tracking the life cycle development of all hardware implementation and software     development efforts.





Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and in a team environment, and be able to interface with a variety of individuals. Have strong administrative, configuration management and communication skills. Organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently are a must. The candidate must be adaptable and versatile and capable of working in a fast pace environment. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

The position is located in North Charleston, SC. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the company’s health benefits and retirement plan, and are eligible to receive 10 paid holidays, 5 paid personal days, and 2 weeks of vacation. Logic-One is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
