Computer Scientist-Engineer

Job Title: Computer Scientist / Engineer Job Description: The Computer Scientist / Engineers will serve on the Vocabulary Team providing technical support concerning cross-domain information exchange vocabularies, information asset assessment, and business rules capture process. Experience with facilitating and engaging stakeholders and SMEs in an integrated team effort is required. Experience required in information organization and classification to include taxonomy and ontology development, XML and OML schema development, data dictionary development, and indexing schemas within a metadata environment. Required Skills/Education: 7 years experience with a Masters in a related technical field (e.g., EE, Com Sci) or 10 years experience with a bachelors degree in a related technical field; skill set must include semantic modeling, OWL, XML, ontology and taxonomy development. Knowledge of and experience with ontology development tools, semantic modeling tools to include TOPBRAID Composer & product family and the KNOODL system. Additional Notes/Information: Desired: Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) particularly the United States Air Force Headquarters staff.
