Job Category: Administrative/Clerical BAE Systems is pleased to announce an opening for a Computer Analyst/CSSAMO supporting our operations at Fort benning, GA. Here are a few more details about the open position:Job Title: Computer Analyst/CSSAMOSupporting: Technologies Solutions & ServicesTechnologies Solutions & Services of BAE Systems Inc. provides a full spectrum of systems engineering, technical services and ordnance systems to our customers in disciplines essential for successful systems development, operation, and maintenance. Our full life-cycle systems capabilities include system design, integration and test, software development engineering, and maintenance and integrated logistics support. Position Details:STAMIS and standalone computers. Installs and assists clients in STAMIS Software Change Packages (SCP) and Interim Change Packages (ICP) in accordance with applicable Software Version Description (SVD). Perform functionality test of new software releases prior to implementation in the STAMIS systems. Possess thorough knowledge in troubleshooting STAMIS hardware, software and communication devices. Performs file maintenance that includes restoring files, fixing corrupt or out of synchronization files, rebuilding and saving data files. Provide technical guidance and functionality assistance to clients to resolve STAMIS issues or problems. Maintain a disk and CD/DVD library of all STAMIS software for each system supported. Assists in adapting applications to meet the local needs (creation and modifications of special programs), maintaining a training library, the formulation of policies and procedures governing shop operations in developing contingency plans to support remote or forward units. Install and maintains ULLS-G, ULLS-S4, PBUSE, SAMS-1/2 workstations and servers, SAMS E (Enhanced) 1/2 workstations, and SARSS 1/2 workstations and servers. Installs and maintains Windows 2000, Windows Server/XP Pro, Solaris 8, MS DOS operating systems and Oracle operating systems in support of SAMSE. The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to STAMIS systems during the interview process. The selected candidate will function as computer technician for the FLRC BENNING Activity responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing hardware components, diagnosing software issues with systematic problems within the functionality of STAMIS systems and Commercial off shelf (COTS) computers brands consisting of Dell, HP, and IBM and/or selected others. The candidate will work closely with the military counterpart in a rigorous environment to ensure all STAMIS systems are functional. The applicant will process a broad range of knowledge in networking system and all peripherals devices. Qualifications: Possess 6+ years of STAMIS experience and familiarity with terminology of military STAMIS operating systems and functionality of each system. Familiarity with PC components and the ability to perform limit PC troubleshooting, repair and replacement of select hardware components in the STAMIS systems. Certified Computer Technician A+ or C++ is an asset.Must possess an Associated Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology/Management Information Systems is required. A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Managements Systems is desired. In lieu of degree candidate must have minimum 5 years on the job experience in a military environment as a CSSAMO technician with proven skills and knowledge of STAMIS systems troubleshooting and problem solving skills and a proven computer technician with knowledge in troubleshooting and repair experience.
