Description of Work: • Supervise a workforce of 20 personnel and schedule the manpower, work load, and schedules to support business requirements • Engage in constant communication with customer (internal and external) to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner •Supervise FUPP repairs to ensure requirements are met •Provide direction/supervision to material and powerpack team •Maintain 100% accountability of assigned equipment •Manage assets to ensure supplies are issued in a manner that will cause a continuous flow of material as required •Supervise repair/supply activities in order to streamline flow of materials to workforce •Supervise repair of sub-systems and components (aka LRUs) of the Stryker family of vehicles •Direct the maintenance steps to accomplish repairs will include disassembling, removing and replacing worn/ damaged/defective part(s), adjusting, reassembling and testing using applicable technical documentation •Maintain continuity of workforce by ensuring that 100% of the workforce are prepared for work on a daily basis •Complete maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties •Maintain constant communication with supported entities, management, and staff •Participate in logistical meetings and provide insight for paths forward in support rendered •Supervise and assist in the Quality control processes •Supervise the troubleshooting and correct malfunctions in automotive systems (power pack (engine, transmission, cooling), fuel, exhaust, driveline and suspension ) using built in test equipment (BITE), test equipment and/or manual troubleshooting procedures (MTPs), common and special tools and applicable technical documentation. •Provide assistance to team effort by providing assistance in driveline repairs as needed Job Requirements: *Associate's Degree or equilavent military experience in maintenance field; Bachelor's Degree preferred. * Strong interpersonl skills, communication, and supervisory skills * 6-10 years supervisory experience * Military school trained wheel vehicle mechanic (such as US Army MOSs 63B, 63S, 63W or 63B MCM or USMC MOSs 2147, 3521, 3522, 3524). •Documented commercial training and/or experience acceptable. •Read and interpret troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures and flow diagrams for systems, subsystems and components. • Ability to obtain and maintain US passport • Ability to pass ASR • Must speak fluent English and have above average verbal and written skills • Mechanical skills • Highly Organized administrative skills * Must meet deployment requirements Required Education: AASubmit Your Resume Online NowGeneral Dynamics Land Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Title:  Component Repair (Powerpack) Supervisor (E Band) Location:  Raleigh/Durham-RTP Job Category:  Installation/Maintenance/Repair Requisition Number:  LEW-LE-08-7066 Career Level:  Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff)
